Founded by Walter Ribeiro, a veteran of the U.S. Military, The Dragonfly-e Inc. emerged from a desire to serve and uplift local, small rural communities in America. After relocating to Minnesota for a slower-paced life, Walter realized his passion lay in finding sustainable solutions for the Ag-Food Industry's supply chain. Recognizing the critical need to balance conventional and renewable energy sources in U.S. agricultural operations, he set out to support American farmers without imposing unnecessary operational costs.Established in 2020, The Dragonfly-e Inc. focuses on strengthening the American economy where it matters most—at the heart of our food supply chain. Our mission quickly resonated with small towns, allowing us to tackle challenges such as wastewater treatment and collaborate with the University of Minnesota to address local and global food supply issues and industrial carbon emissions. Through innovative partnerships and a commitment to equity and inclusion, we are reshaping the landscape for a sustainable economy. At The Dragonfly-e, we believe that if our solutions don't work for all, they simply don't work at all. At The Dragonfly-e Inc., we recognized early on the challenges within technologies aimed at improving carbon intensity, understanding that achieving balance and common ground is essential for successfully transitioning from fossil fuels to renewable hydrocarbon fuels to supply the Ag-Food Industry. Our commitment to sourcing an equal and reliable supply of bio-fuel, demands a matching source in volume and quality of bio-mass capable to maintain industrial levels of production relying in local farming operations and has been central to our approach. While the availability of biomass at industrial farming operations is clear, we focused on assessing its feasibility and return on investment.Our initiative has united a talented team of experienced professionals across various disciplines.
